Maureen studied Art and Design at Harrow College of Art and Design- Middlesex London (Now The University of Westminster) where she initially completed a foundation course in Fine Art. She then completed her N.D.D.in  Dress Design with well known Fashion Designer Maggie Shepherd at the same college.

Maureen then went onto establish a career  as a dress Designer in the Clothing Industry. The late 60's was an excting time to be a creative person in London. Maureen really loved her career, which involved travel to trade fairs for sourcing fabric and ideas.

When Maureen arrived in Australia in the late 80's, she gradually moved out of the Fashion Industry and rekindled her interest in Fine Art. Since then Maureen has focused on developing her skills as a Painter, principally with acrylics, watercolours and pastels as her chosen medium. She has attended workshops with Peter Sharpe (Sydney based artist) Craig Penney ( Melbourne) and Sian and Robert Dudley (United Kingdom)

Maureen has entered works into many Art Shows, both in Melbourne and the U.K. and has won many awards. Maureen  had a successful solo exhibition 3 years ago, where she sold several paintings. More recently she won 1st prize  for best pastel at the Mount view Art Show. Since then she has been travelling to Europe to work on ideas for forthcoming exhibitions. Last year has recently successfully exhibited works at the Rudolph Steiner Art Show.
