Wandjina by Steve Brown

Features

ARTIST NOTES: Wandjina are rain spirits of 5 aboriginal tribes of the Kimberley area of Australia, generally painted on rock formations near waterways. Many types exist, & this is a representation of what I've seen, not an exact copy. It's made as a tribute to aboriginal rock art & does not try to appropriate it.

ARTIST BIO

I'm a retired industrial chemist (2018), and have several interests: travel, kayaking the bay, making red wine, photography, painting, pottery, collecting aboriginal art - all good hobbies. My own art style (I like to think) is 'quirky' and as I get more proficient with digital photography I hope to push my photography in a similar direction.
